Funmi is the Founder and current President of the Society of Safety, Health and Environment, Africa. She is the Consultant to the Committee on Safety Standards and Regulations, The Nigeria Federal House of Representatives. She is salso the CEO of CTS Globe-a leading HSE training and consulting firm in the UK and Africa.
Funmi is one of the immediate past IOSH Council Member and a certified HSE Management Consultant, Instructor and Auditor of many international qualifications and certifications ISO 45001(Occupational Health and Safety Management System), ISO9001(Quality Management System), ISO14001 (Environment Management System), ISO 31000 (Risk Manager) to name the few as well as an Author of a Child Safety Book.
She has a wealth of experience in the HSE industry that spans nearly two decades both in the UK and Nigeria; and has helped shape the evolution of Health, Safety and Environment compliance in different parts of the world and in various industries, Including the Insurance and Financial sectors in Lagos State, Nigeria; in her capacity as a Consultant to The Lagos State Safety Commission.
Funmi holds her first degree in Forensic Science and higher diploma in Law. She has a master's degree in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment with a PhD on Organisational Wellbeing in view.
