This short online course is for all employees and is ideal as part of an induction programme. It aims to provide employees with sufficient information to enable them to protect themselves, others and the environment from harm.

The course takes 20-30 minutes and includes a range of e-Learning interactions including an innovative 3D hazard spotting game where learners identify and control hazards as they move through a fictitious workplace. Learners are encouraged to think about policies and procedures in their own workplace and must pass a short multiple-choice assessment to complete the course.

Course overview
Module 1 – Learners examine the basic legal duties and responsibilities of employees.
Module 2 – Learners take a virtual journey through a workplace where they identify and fix a range of typical workplace hazards.
Module 3 – Learners explore typical arrangements at work including emergency actions, first aid, incident reporting and personal protection.
Module 4 – Learners consider the negative impacts of workplace activities on the environment and what can be done to reduce those impacts
Learners must pass a short multiple-choice assessment to complete the course.
